Zip Line experience.

Yesterday, we went to Tagaytay to celebrate my brother's 28th birthday(hey bro, sorry to mention your age lol!) HE treated us for a nice out of town trip. Although we only spent few hours at that place we had so much fun together.

By the way, It was so freakin COLD!!!!!! and to add more freeze to the temperature,, the wind just kept blowing and blowing. brrrrrrrrrr!. I thought i bought just enough jacket for my youngest, but he was still cold so i needed to cover up his whole body because he's still a baby.

My brother bought tickets for zip line. He really wanted to try it out. Hoestly, I really thought i wouldn't make it to the top. I kind of afraid at first but when i tried. Man, it was so cool. It's like flying fast! so fun! I asked my husband if we could go back again next time. hahaha!

You could easily check out www.yellowleafianancial.com at the comfort of your own home. And apply online.

So worry no more, getting cash advance and payday loans has never been this fast, safe and easy. Better safe than sorry.

Last day of crying.

Today is the last day of my son's Daily shots. It was really hard for me every time i bring my son to the hospital, It's like He cries for help. Almost all of the nurses are telling me not to bring my baby back because it just breaks their hearts everytime he cries.

I felt relieved when the doctor finally said that Today will be his final shot and he will be OK, I just need to continue and religiously give him his medicine on time for 7 more days. I knew God is always listening to all of our prayers. And my husband is also happy for what happened. It costs us a lot, i mean everyday in the hospital? The bills, the medicine everything.

But nothing is more important than to see my kids up and well.

Tomorrow, my daughter and my husband will go to his Christmas Party and even though the party was supposed to be for the whole family. I guess it would be better if i will stay with my baby.

Happy holidays to everyone!

A week to get over.

This is really a bad week for me. But I'm trying to look at the brighter side of everything.

We just arrived from the hospital today. My son is sick, he was diagnosed with Pneumonia. I thought it was dengue but after they conducted several tests, they found out that it was Pneumonia. It was really hard for me to see my 9-month old son, suffering.

He coughed like an old man. So bad. It was so difficult for him to breathe. He cried and cried the whole day, and there's nothing i can do but wait for the medicine to work. I carried him the whole time, danced and sang for him too. I did everything.

Every time a nurse passes by, he always started crying. Maybe he was thinking it's "injection time!" He didn't sleep so well, so did I and my hubby. He's not yet well up to now. We still need to go back to the hospital for his daily shots. I am praying every night for him to get well fast.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm going to visit my mother in law tomorrow. I still don't know what to bring her. She's diabetic so there are foods that I like to give but i can't. She has heart problems too, so many foods to avoid.

I would like to rush to the nearest mall tomorrow and buy her a dress, but i don't know her size now. My sister i law told me that she lost a lot of weight.

I only have few hours to think. (sigh).. Have a great weekend everyone!

The Last Song Syndrome

I hate L.S.S. whenever it happened to me in unexpected places and situations. L.S.S. stands for Last Song Syndrome. It simply means to listen to music before going out of the house, and having the last song you hear before leaving stick in your head all through your journey, and beyond. Is usually accompanied by subconscious humming. This syndrome is particularly dangerous when the song happens to be the most pathetic, crappy, albeit catchy song ever. (from urban dictionary)

Yesterday morning, My daughter started singing this song from a TV commercial. And it was a catchy but very lousy type of song. She started singing it when she saw the ad on TV and she sang along. The Ad was already finished but she kept singing the song.

And what happened next? I started singing too, And i kept singing the whole morning. And the most embarrassing happened when i went to the bank, and while waiting for my turn i started singing it. And because the TV ad was popular. A lot of people were familiar to that song. And to my stupidity i even sang at least two lines. Oh My! I heard people were laughing at my back. and The bank tellers too. So embarrassing!

So after what happened, I started to sing a nice song in my head. To remove the unwanted one. I never thought of singing a new song earlier because i was just so busy. Oh what a day!

Btw, That's my daughter when she was 2.

Musicality runs in the family

I was very busy these past few days. I was always out to help Gwen( my eldest) with all her stuffs. My daughter had a chance to join her school program. She was too excited that she forgot some important things to tell me. Like paying for her costume, required white shoes and gloves and stuff like that. But all in all her performance was a blast. She danced with her classmates and they won the grand prize!

I am one proud mama. Even though i am so tired, I was very very happy and fulfilled. My daughter just love to sing and dance. Just like her parents( yep! me and hubby). I don't give too much pressure on her talents. I want her to know what are her strengths and weaknesses on her own.

My parents wasn't always around when i was young, because i was brought up by my grandparents. Most of my uncles and aunties has good singing voice and musicians. I knew i will be like them someday. So i know my daughter will know her own talent too with my guidance of course.

Want to hear real free music?

As a voice coach, I always make sure that i pass the real art of music to my students. It's not all about singing in front of people or playing their favorite music instruments. It's more than that, It's about the heart and mind that you put into it, The passion and knowledge.

I think music is one main reason why me and my husband ended up with each other. Both of us were former lead vocals of different bands. He's from a heavy rock band and I'm from a soft punk rock. I still keep our composed songs and hope someday it will be played locally and internationally.

I found this one amazing social networking site called Kerchoonz,
A site that pays artists whenever their music has been played or downloaded. Unsigned or signed artists, indie or major artists are all very much welcome. And another one thing that is so cool about them is that anyone can get paid by referring talented bands and other artist. It's an absolutely win win scenario.

Oh yeah and one more thing, It's free and legal music! So, just sign up, (it usually takes just few seconds) and you can now easily listen and download music without the guilt. This brand new music destination will definitely go a long way. Helping artists to show off their talents, Helping them to earn money, and helping the music industry against piracy. You could watch this video and see for yourself.

Fun-filled experience with Santa.

When I was around 8 years old, one of my greatest wishes was that someday I will see the real Santa Claus face to face. Years passed but still no signs of Santa. Now that i have my own family I still am a fan of Santa.

Last night, while I was doing my daily routines. I came across CEIVA over the Internet and had a chance to sit on Santa's lap. Oh yes, you heard it right! I sat on Santa's lap and asked for a wish. It was so fun and I was totally surprised.

In the video, Santa and his elf was showing this unique digital photo frame from CEIVA. It was so cool! The frame can actually display pictures that were taken anywhere (your office, home, park, anywhere in the world!) in an instant. Without actually inserting the picture inside the frame.

How? Through a phone line. The frame can receive pictures and immediately displays it right away. I really think it's very convenient. You can actually display pictures even when your out. With just a mobile phone or computer. You can show off pictures of your kids to your family (even if they are miles away) within minutes.

I tried it by uploading this one of a kind picture of myself and within seconds it was in the picture frame. It was so fun! You can even join Got a Wish Sweeepstakes and win 500$!

One random entry is selected for each day of the contest and no purchase necessary. You just need to upload your own picture and must be a resident of the United states and or Washington DC.

I will definitely going to get one of these this Christmas.

If you're feeling blue. Count your blessings!

When i was young and feeling blue. I always watch TV and look for comedy shows and or watch comedy movies, and the worst.... i visit the fridge. And look for a friend there! hahaha! what i meant is that i love eating when I'm depressed. Because I'm one of those people who don't get fat easily. But now things changed.

Whenever i feel lonely.. I count my blessings and end up smiling after counting.

So I'm a little down today (just a little) so here's my list to be grateful for:

1. I found out that my husband will receive his 13th month this week! yahoo!!

2. My 8 month old son's teeth is finally showing up! He's a kid now.

3. My 5-year old daughter learned how to pray on her own.

4. Our neighbor's stubborn dog (who always pee and leave a huge poop in front of our gate) was caught by the dog pound yesterday!

5. My sister bought a nice coffee crumble ice cream today! It's been a long time since i last ate one. yum yum!

6. My Taiwanese students who always make me happy every class.

Ok, so i don't feel sad anymore, really! i was thinking of just watching survivor on you tube later and or watch happy slip videos just before i sleep.Have a wonderful day everyone!
