I need some help!!

I really need some help here. I hope you would take some time and give some comments on this post. I have two things on my mind right now.

1st:On November 18, My parents will be celebrating their 30th Wedding Anniversary and Me and my sister and brothers has still no ideas what to do.

We don't want to give common gifts, because that's what we do every year. My father doesn't like romantic dates because he's not that type, My mother do want to go out but both of them have hectic schedules. Their both very active at church, at home and at work especially my dad.

I'm very tired of going out and eating with the whole family every year, because that's what we do every single year. We want to do something unforgettable for them, something both of them will enjoy and remember. It's their 30th year Anniversary. It has to be different.

2nd: On November 30 will be my 6th year wedding anniversary. Like my parents do, Me and my hubby just go out and eat with the kids. yup that's all. We're both very busy. And i just want it to be special. Please! please I need your help and advices!!

hi sis! my suggestion is why don't you give both of them a break, a vacation to spend time as hubby and wife, reserve a room for them in a hotel or in a place you think they may like to go that would be a very nice gift for their wedding anniversary. what do you think?

that's exciting planning for an event. the hotel-spa surprise gift is excellent! or maybe give them tickets to travel to a place they really want to visit but never had the chance to visit ... hmmmm ... think what do they really want? if they really want to gather the whole brood then hope everyone will be able to go and have a nice gathering ...

I like the hotel idea too! Maybe you and your husband could get a babysitter and have a romantic night out. I am excited to know what you will plan!

If i were you , I would have put up a skit, representing your entire life with your parents. From Birth to now. And highlighting how important they have been in your lives. It would be personal, non-romantic and memorable. You can also prepare dinner for them at home and sit down sing, dance and just have a great time with them!!
(Also maybe play a few board games with them)
